I ask my boyfriend what he wants for his birthday and he said give him anything that'll make him happy. I really don't do man shopping because men's are complex so I can't decide what should I buy that would make him happy?

if he has a video game system, get him a new game! guys love the video games. otherwise, he might like a certian kind of beer. or, if he has a collection of something, get him something to add to his collection. there are lots of things you can do! or, he might even like it if you make him something. :)

I'll agree with gabluesmanxlt on 4. Lingerie - well and enthusiastically modeled.
But pay attention - me and my roommate had a discussion on ex-girlfriends who after talking about lingerie bought something that was the opposite of what we wanted. does he like looking at any particular pics or sites?
perhaps a pleated skirt and pigtails?
or a leather skirt and boots? (my personal fav)
tell him you have to get his present ready - then call him in the bedroom - he'll be the happiest man alive
games or anything else - well if you overhear him say "oh I HAVE to get that" then buy it - otherwise he may not like the particular style of game
or you could make him his favorite meal and give him a nice massage
remember - it's what makes him happy - like when we go to chick flicks - we don't exactly like it - but hey - if your happy......

1. A nice knife, but a USEABLE knife - not one of these decorative, collector thingies. Ask at your hardware store, or, if he's into cooking, at your gourmet shop.
2. Wrenches. No guy that works on mechanical stuff has enough wrenches. Those combination wrenches with the ratcheting ends are nice. Ask at your NAPA store.
3. A three-cell maglite. With brackets to mount it in the car or truck.
4. Lingerie - well and enthusiastically modelled.

Cologne is a nice personal gift. Nice dress shirts are good. My husband likes football so I usually buy him something to do with the Bengals (his favorite team). Or he likes fishing so I buy him a fishing pole or hunting gear. So if I were you I would buy him something to do with his hobby's
