Not only should you study hard for the SATS (practice tests help a LOT), start taking on leadership positions in your extracurricular activities. Also, and this may be a little early to start this, but start thinking about what you're going to write on for your admissions essay. Good luck!

To build on the last question, I think Yale still has Early Decision.
Look, I went to Yale, loved it. But seriously, don't feel tied to one school. Go and find schools (plural) you love and that fit you. I worry about the tone of your question. It seems like you may be trying to achieve something just to achieve it.
Be passionate because you find something you truly care about that is worth your time. Do community service because there's a need. Study because the subject fascinates you. Play sports because it brings you joy.
THAT's what matters to go to Yale. If you do these things because you're driven to do so out of joy, passion not out of a blind drive to achieve, you'll be a much better applicant. That's what my classmates were like.
However, yes: recommendations matter. Interviews matter peripherally.
Age shouldn't be a deterrent. My freshman year college roommate was 16.
But live a little!

If this is accurate, you certainly are qualified to go to Yale. It's a matter of capturing their attention then. Get SUPERIOR letters of recommendation, try to visit the campus for a tour and interview if at all possible. Make sure they know you are interested. Ask them what you can do to increase your chances. e.g. Perhaps they'll suggest certain majors or sports that might boost your appeal to the school; you can use that info as you see fit. Since Harvard dropped early decision, I am not up on Yale's status re: early decision or early admission, etc. If this is still an option, since you seem very set on Yale, suggest applying ED if you can.
