MPG is irrelevant for me. My friends car gets 5 more mpg than mine, but he spent $3000 for the car and immedietly had to put another $2000 into it, making it a $5000 car. My car cost $2000 and I put $1000 of work into it, making mine cost $2000 less than his. For the life of both cars he wont make up his loss in gas saved.
Point is get a reliable car, I dont trust saturns, I know a few people with them, they're not the most reliable.
