Requiem for a Dream - that is the most disturbing movie I have ever seen. After it was over, I sat with my mouth hanging open for five minutes.

Requiem for a Dream was definately very disturbing...but I'd have to argue that it's also enough of a shocker to make anyone with enough intelligence to understand what's going on think at least twice before getting involved in drugs. Kinda like Trainspotting....another disturbing - not so good ending - movie. Unfortunately, I can't compare: Haven't seen House of Sand and Fog (but I know that's based on a best seller). And Dark Water....that was just messed up (IMHO).

Yes I have. A tragic melodrama about an Iranian family who was treated unkindly in America. The main idea (the unkind treatment of American officials with immigrates) has been repeated in several movies. There was nothing special about the movie and the ending was extremely tragic.
