Last week the raven vs the titans, the ravens blocked the field goal for the win at the end of the game, but all the players tried not to touch the ball after the block, and i dont understand why. Why not pick up the ball and try to run it back? why not just sit on it, wasnt the clock out of time anyway after the kick? Is there some new rule im unaware of or what? Why was it so important to not touch the ball?

The ball is live after a blocked or failed kick. The Ravens could have picked it up and ran with it to try to score. But if they muffed picking it up, fumbled it, or simply just touched it, that would have allowed the Titans to pick it up, run with it, and maybe score. Think of it in the same way as a punt that is not fielded.

Since they were ahead, and no time was left, better to just keep away from it, let it stop bouncing, and then down it.

THE CLOCK WAS NOT UP had 33 sec left and if a Bal touched it could be a fumble or some crazy sh*(t happen . if Bal touches first then the ball is live if titans get it , its dead where if falls. bal ball. And TITANS GOT SCREWED !!!!! that fumble should of went the other way and titans should of won. *I'm sick of the titans losing by mere points ya know what I'm saying DAM. DAM . we have a good QB and good running backs two of em. and some of the best Tight ends in the league. all we need is the deep man

GO TITANS

touching the ball stops the clock and the ball is spotted right there.
