Between 7-14 days. Remember to keep it dry, and clean it with a Q-tip soaked in alcohol once a day.

Yes it is okay, it starts to dry up and soon as the cord is cut. Do not pull of the stump, it will fall off on it's own as you know. It may take up to 3 weeks for it to fall off, My sons came off in 1-2 weeks. Wipe the stump with an Alcohol pad 3x a day, try not to touch the baby's skin.

Every baby is different. Some take 3 days, while others take a longer time like 3 weeks. My Son's fell at 3 weeks. I was concerned just like you when it was taking so long and I asked his doctor who told me to gently turn it every morning. Its ok to turn in a semi circle to the left and then to the right. This way, any fluid that has caked will break up.

between 7 - 10 days just try and keep it clean with alcohol rub and when you put the baby in the tub just splash a bit of water on the cord and then dry it with a q-tip. Please make sure it is kept very dry so it heals quicker. It should fall when it is ready to do so. I hope that helps and good luck and congrats on the new addition to your family.

It's fine. Even if she bleeds a bit once it does fall off thats fine. My daughter's did at about a week and a half. Though I thought it would fall off much sooner.

I read somewhere in one of my baby/parenting books that the cord can't fall off too early. It will fall off when it falls off. Just let it fall off on its own and don't pick it off. My sons fell off at like 4 weeks. It actually came off in pieces and I found the majority of it on my coffee table. If you are concerned talk to your child's doctor.
