back in april i signed up for a 2 year contract with tmobile so i can get my razor for free. after the first year, i wanted to switch my phone to a sidekick 3. am i allowed to do this ? is there a fine ? and where can i get a sidekick3 for the cheapest? thanks.

You are allowed to change your phone. They will make you add another 2 year contract if you want to get the sidekick for cheaper. I think if you want to keep your contract as is then you pay the original price for the sidekick,
There is no fine and I don't know where you can get it for cheaper.

the side kick = 349.99 if 2 years contract 249.99

What i would suggest is to buy a sidekick 3 from ebay or from a local seller and just put your sim card in the sidekick 3, after you do that call tmobile and let them know you have got a sidekick 3 and you can add the data plan. This way you dont have to extend your contract and pay 400 for the phone. Go to www.craigslist.org and type in your city and type sidekick 3, you can find local sellers selling the phones cheap, hope this helps.
