I have the motorola razr. today i was caught in a rain storm and even tho my phone was in my rainjacket's pocket it still got wet. When i got in somewhere dry i dried it off and noticed the phone wasnt on anymore. So i pressed the on button and the keypad lit up but not the screen. So i took the battery out and put it back in and it worked fine. But then my phone which was fully charged went to dead in about 1/2 an hr. So i just charged it again today but then kept it off. I was just wondering if anyone knew if i did the right thing or, as my one friend suggested, i should have kept the battery out for a day or two. Any suggestions on what to do will be appreciated.

take your battery out and leave in a warm place for the night and then dry you phone with a blow dryer for a few minutes it will probably work too if that doesn't call you cell phone provider to see if you can send it in to get it fixed they will send you a same phone while and if they cant get it fixed they let you keep it but i believe it for a low charge that with Mobile not sure about the other but i believe the razor belongs to Mobile

I also have this phone and the other day I took a spil while out fishing. I just took it all apart and let the vent in my jeep blow on it all the way home. I left it sitting out overnight to dry completely and it has worked fine since.

you may want to buy a new battery for it. When i dropped my phone in a puddle all i had to do was buy a new battery and it was fine.
