i have not and i think that anyone who does have an eating disorder needs to go see a doctor. i have friends that have gone through it briefly.... wasn't fun. it'll make you skinny fast but you wont have any energy, you'll constantly look and feel tired, your nails will get brittle and your hair will eventually lose your hair. no one i know has let it get that far though.

Society is partially to blame for planting the idea that skinny is the only form of beautiful but these people cant blame it just on that. Their stupidity is mostly at fault. not eating will actually make you gain more weight when you start to eat again because your body goes into starvation mode. Making yourself puke will tear up your throat and cause your teeth to discolor. that doesn't sound beutiful to me. Exercising and eating RIGHT will make you healthily lose weight. and stay that way.

as for the models: it is awful to kill yourself for a magazine cover.

I think Brazil and the rest of the world should drill these new rules into their heads! Being skinny on purpose is not stylish! Might as well use a clothing hanger to model a designers clothes...it's so sad...women should have a full figure...doesn't anyone remember that Marilyn Monroe was no where near a size 1? She was a full-figured woman and she is known as the epitome of legendary beauty!

a rather good variety of youthful females look as much as those variety's and in on account that the fashions are skinny they themselves prefer to be only as skinny if no longer much greater pores and skin than the fashions and this leads to anorexia. I applaud Tyra in making the version .

I think to be famous or get a lot of money we can't make sacrifice like that.If in may places they require skinny women to be model there are oither ones fighting against it so let's think in a better place to work without death.

well that is obvious she shouldn't of been anorexic then she wouldn't of died

and obviously once agian anorexia is bad. brought on by a messed up society that is more concerned with fashion than with practicality

she was stupid to stop eating! it was her fault she 'wanted to be skinny'. she should know that it is unhealthy and she could die from it! (even tho she alreday did! and spain or somewhere is banning skinny fashion models cuz there trying to promote 'healthy eating'.
