You girls are really something. You let a good friendship get ruined over some guy who neither of you will even know in a couple years. He will have moved on to another girl and your friendship is in ruin. You need to figure out how to repair this friendship and use it as a lesson in the future.

Who cares if shes nice now? NEVER trust friends like that..EVER! Theyre only there to cause you trouble & thats exactly what they do. I had a friend who did the same thing. I told her i liked someone & i told her to ask him out for me...the only thing thats different is that instead of asking him out for me..she asked him out for herself. I got really mad & upset! I wouldnt talk to her. She started being nice again but there was no way i could trust her again. People always say "Friends 4ever boys whatever" but it wasnt only her asking the guy out that bothered me...it was the lying that she did. It made me upset & i couldnt trust her anymore. Im ok w/ her now but im not her friend. I dont need friends like that & neither do you...cuz you never know when theyre gonna do something crappy again & then pretend to be your best friend. Good luck hun. This ones hard.

Best Friends don't do that to each other. BTW never do that again, be a real woman, and tell the guy yourself. A guy will think "if you're too scared to talk to them, then you're too much to work with". All men like low maintenance women. Go find a REAL friend and a new man.

Brandy: All is fair in both, love and war ! Would you rather, he went out with you - not really liking you ??? !!! Don't take this personally. You will find a guy who likes you a little later down the "road" - give it time. You will then, be glad you waited. I can understand your feelings right now - but trust the future, the "now" will take care of it's self !!! Good luck to you.

I hope that you've learned from what you did. If you like a guy don't ask your friend or even your sister to ask the guy out for you, because the guy will only see the one that he's with. Don't try to forget what has happened because it's a lesson for you here, now go and find you another man, and don't have a other girl ask him out for you this time, do it yourself.

I beg to differ with the other two respondants, this is your friend you are talkign about, if she likes this boy then you should be happy for her you said ",he said no, i was ok" so what it seems is that you may be a little jealous, which is ok and i understand where you are coming from, but whatever you do dont "drop her and move on"

The fact you describe her as "best friend" means you don't think as much of her as you probably once did. Therefore empower yourself and move on, because if the trust has gone then so has the friendship.

I wonder if she really was your friend...she doesn't seem to care very much about your feelings. Anyway, I think there is nothing you can do about this guy, but you should try to get really reliable friends. If this guy chose to date your friend, it means he was more interested in her....or that he sucks!!!

I have one suggestion. If I were you, I would spend my time learning to write properly. Your sentence construction and grammar, really need some attention.

If she was really your friend and she knew that you really did like him she would have never had asked him out or let him ask her out. One of my best friends whenever he knew that I was going out with a girl he would never ask her out until after he talked to me when knew that I wasn't going out with them anymore. That's because he was my true best friend.
