On the enterprise rent a car website it says " UNLIMITED MILES IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA. VEHICLES ALLOWED TO TRAVEL INTO NORTH AND SOUTH CAROLINA, ALABAMA, AND GEORGIA WITH A LIMITED MILEAGE OF 200 PER DAY AND .25 FOR EACH ADDITIONAL MILE, FOR THE ENTIRE RENTAL" my question is if someone were to cross the border between florida and georgia how would enterprise know that their rental car left florida?

Well let me know how the suing thing goes. The same thing happened to me with my camera. And of course they didn't find it. But I can pretty much tell you what happened. As soon as you turn it in it goes to the car wash and vacuum people. And they are being paid minimum wage, so a camera or an ipod looks really enticing. Voila! Disappearing gadget. I called Enterprise 4 times and spoke to a few different people and they all said they would call me back, but no one ever did. This kind of thing probably happens all the time, and they know what happens to them. I guess they just don't care. Kiss it goodbye. Good luck.

They won't, but if you wreck in a state you are not authorized to travel into, there may be issues with insurance coverage for that auto.
