It depends how big your school is. I went to a school of about 1,000 and my dad taught there (I actually had him for class) and my mom subbed there I lot. It really isn't bad at all! My school was big enough that I rarely ran into them. It also has its benefits--If I forgot to have something signed or if I needed lunch money they were available!

As a parent with two teenagers in the school I taught it had pros and cons! You always knew where your kids were. The con was every little thing that happened I found a note in my teachers mail box. It was like do what you would do if i were not here. It was ruff on the kids to so i would not suggest it! Hope this helps!

I am a teacher my self, and I know how might this situation may seem to our kids to have their parents in the same school, but as a teacher and a dad at the same time, It is a reflection from how the kids are raised at home with independent personality and learned how to deal with their own problems, and for me as a teacher dad, I do my best to stay a way from my kids problems at school.

It depends. Several of my friends have this problem. Some times its frustrating because you hear others bad mouthing your parents and you want to say something but if you do you will be teased constantly.
Its can be good too because having a parent there means that some things are easier to get.

I like it. If I forget my homework, my mom can talk to the teacher and get me out of trouble.
If I want a certain teacher next year, my mom can talk to people and get me that teacher!
It's also good if I need money for lunch. One time I needed money for a big trip that was four days long and out of state that I wanted to go to and my mom broought money at the last minute.

well from experience, its realy embarrasing, and you usualy try to avoid them the best you can. but sometimes it can help i mean you always have someone to rely on and you don't have to wory about failing or forgetting to do stuff because they are usualy pretty involved in yuor school life, which like i said has its pros and cons
