Every one gets a little nervous when starting a new thing. I think you should go for it. Even if you fail, you will have learned something, and do better later on your second try.
Even if you have to sit on the bench a lot, you are making friends with the other players, learning how they play, and learning all sorts of stuff.
And, maybe you are just nervous -- maybe you'll go out there and do a great job! You won't know until you try.

it's always a bit scary before a try out...i kno how u feel...and the thing is you can try out now...if u make it then yay!!!!
but it u dont u can go to the coach and ask what you should work, work on it, and then try out again next tym.
It's all practice and how much you want it. If your really determined to make the team and get better and all that then you'll make it...you jus have to keep trying and not get discouraged or anything...

Not a chance... but before you join the team, you gotta believe in yourself! Go out there and give it everything you got! You'll never know what your able to do if you don't try......
remember you'll miss 100% of the shots you DON"T take!!!!!!

no never wait!!!!! tryout and see where you stand, then if your bad give up. no im kiddin but after that grade your self and go make the improvements for next year. thats what you gotta do in order to survive in sports. see where you are then go from there. and you might even make the team. so just do it!

you can try now and not lose the chance, if you don't make it you can try out again later, when you feel more confident, and you will know how the process works.
