my bf wrote it. it is about a prostitute. can anyone tell me what it means?

Living on self indulgence, harlot
Desecrating her temple, scarlet
L.D.50 and a sworn is her path
Falter with the beginnings of her end

Are you are dying
While I’m crying
Tie a knot to live a bit more
I’ll do anything to see it once more

Now I’m burnt out
So I’ll breach her harness
She deals with the remedy angel thay
Writhes before she snaps and fades

Rove and flitter through the crippling wind
Urchin beauty with out a rustic shell
Unpagan daughter, ashamed from all her frails
As lame as it gets, she still has her disdain

There's no pattern here.

As far as I can tell, it's mainly saying that she's using prostitution as an escape, but it is destroying her, and that there could be a better way.

If I go through it verse by verse:
Verse 1 - "Living on self indulgence..."
This verse is sort of like an introduction, especially the first line. It basically says that she is a prostitute, she has compromised her morals, and she could kill herself if she continues - probably through AIDS or the like.

Verse 2 - "Are you dying..."
This verse appears to be to highlight to a prostitute what she is doing, by asking questions, as in the first two lines. "Tie a knot to live a bit more" sounds like it is saying that in order to find fulfilment in a sexual way, she needs to find one true partner instead of having many. I'm unsure on the last line, but it could be saying that prostitutes have been saved from that life and that it would be great if this one could as well.

Verse 3 - "Now I'm burnt out..."
My best interpretation of this is that whoever the poems viewpoint is from is saying they are tired of the ways of a prostitute and he wants to do something about it, even if that means stepping outside his comfort zone. The way that the prostitute knows how to deal with her problems is to just get involved in more prostitution, and he wants her to overcome that.

Verse 4 - "Rove and flitter through the crippling wind..."
I love this verse. It appears to be all about how, even if she is a prostitute, she is a more beautiful person on the inside. The first line says that she lets it happen, that she just lets prostitution take her and destroy her, while wandering the streets. The second says that she has a sort of playful beauty, but it is hidden away behind the sinful prostitute she acts like. I'm unsure about "unpagan daughter", but it could mean that her parents tried to make her holy when she was young, and the rest of the line could speak of how she was ashamed of her flaws, therefore using prostitution of a way to escape them. The last line could then mean that, despite the fact she used prostitution as a way of proving to herself that her flaws weren't bad, she still hates herself.

Of course, I'm no expert, but I hope that helps.
Very good poem too, I had fun trying to work out what everything meant.

The dose amount of poisonous or toxic substance or dose of ionizing radiation required to kill 50% of the tested population. Year introduced: 1976 "Aids?" It sounds as if he is mourning the extermination of animals but you said it was about a prostitute. He may be viewing and comparing her to the animal. As they pass infection after infection and do it with a "who cares attitude".
Really very moving free verse!
