Interesting hint I got for a search engine that said a page for a newspaper, Middletown Daily Argus, on July 2, 1897 had a report about a Martin Thorn and a Mrs. Nack. But the link was to a titanicarchive.com website, so if you want to subscribe in order to read it, be my guest. There was something about a black eye and a physical exam.
