....the one from the 50's/60's with Rod Sterling. Not the crappy ones from the 80's and on (not sure if they still make them). Doesn't matter.....the new ones sucked big time, anyways. But back to the wall, what's your favorite episosde...of the Twighlight Zone.

They were all so good, but two stand out. One when everone was in this little house or city, and at the end it turned out they were all just in a dollhouse, and someone was playing with them.
Then, the one where the kid fell through the wall to another dimension, and they could hear her, but couldn't get to her.

Gosh, I loved those shows.

Really good question. The one episode that made the most impact on me and wound up being a favorite was To Serve Man. As the male character goes into the saucer and she had deciphered the book... IT'S A COOKBOOK! Oh man, that really got me, still does! At the end of every year, new years- the science fiction airs a twilight zone marathon, so this time I'll be around to watch those classics.

My favorites are "It's a Good Life" where the little boy has special powers and the entire town fears him, "Nightmare at 200 Feet" with William Shatner as a man on a plane who sees a strange creature on the wing causing damage to the plane which no one else sees, "Living Doll" with a little girl whose stepfather doesn't treat her very well and she gets a new doll named Talking Tina who attacks the stepfather, "Time Enough at Last" where a man survives the end of the world, and my all-time favorite "To Serve Man" where a mysterious alien race lands on earth claiming to want to help them, when it appears they have an ulterior motive

I liked many.
First:
Talkie Tina the murdering little doll.
The mannequins
The one where the woman who has a sister who is an actress, who comes back to visit, only to find out she had already died in a plane crash.
The one where the "lady" has plastic surgery and is supposed to be ugly, and she is really pretty.
The "Room 22". one where the plane crashes at the end.
The "cat eyes woman" in the man's dream.
there are soooo many. Your right, I hated the new ones, they didn't even try to make them anything like the old ones.
They weren't scary, they were just typical Science Fiction, with no element to them.
There is nothing like the good old programs. Most programs nowadays suck.

Wow, I thought I was the only one who still likes these!(Yes they started making them again recently and they're pretty bad)
I have to say the one with the talking doll always creeps me out. I really like An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge but I don't think that counts because Rod Serling didn't write it.

Definitely Episode 8 called Time Enough at Last...originally aired November 29, 1959...starring Burgess Meredith as a bookworm yearning for more time to read--then a nuclear holocaust leaves him alone in the world with lots of time, plenty to read and one ironic twist...a must see!!!

My husband's favorite is "To Serve Man"...he even has a pair of boxer shorts with it on them. My fave, (I can't remember the name of it) is the one with the woman on the black horse chasing the girl on the white horse. Turns out the old woman is the young girl grown old. Weird, but good. I also like the one where the family goes to New Orleans to see the grandfather who is about to die, and he makes them wear these weird masks. Won't spoil the ending!!! We watch the holiday marathons of Zone....

I loved the old twilight zones and have seen every one several times. I don't know the name of the episode but it starts out with an old woman in a house alone and a tiny spaceship and spacemen land in her attic. they are shooting her with their lasers and leaving burn marks on her skin and when she finally finds their space ship and smashes it - there is writing on the side that says "USA". Pretty awesome I thought.

I liked many that were listed by other people here, and I also like the one where the kids swam in their pool and went to another world, and the one with the toys in the donation barrel.

Next Stop, Willoughby.....

It was the episode that had a man who's life was out of control that found himself in his hometown the same time as when he was a child.
