My husband finally thinks it is scripted but he watches and says it is great entertainment.
I think it is a total waste of time. What do you think?

Sure it's scripted, and as you put it well practiced before hand. But so are SOAPS and people watch it faithfully.
There was a great show on FitTV called "Slam Bam" and through the course of the show they showed you how the moves were done and how it actually takes an athlete to complete and take the moves.
For all it's scripted and made up it sure takes someone special to be able to do what they do.

Just because it's scripted doesn't mean that it's fake. These guys are incredible athletes and there's no CGI in the WWE. A guy jumping off the top ropes, doing a 360 flip and landing on another guy 15 feet away takes talent, skill, and guts.
