no,
but i burned a flag on the fourth of july.
but i should thank one, if it is them to balme. i like the idea that i at least have the right to
life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
that's what america about right?
or do you believe it's about telling people what to do?
i burned that flag in sheer joy and celebration and i'll do it again with all my friends next year?
if that makes you mad, then good, i'm also glad you have the right to get mad. becasue the same world that would prohibit me from burning a flag would be possible of prohiting you of expressing how you feel. i kinda get the impression your a little too dense to absorb that. but whatever, it's a free country, which mean i can do what i want right?
if you don't like it, move to china, i sure they got flag burning laws that better suit you

Actually I have, I'm a liberal too!!! You should be able to burn flags if you want to. Its just another form of freedom of expression which we are guaranteed as American citizens to be able to do in the 1st Amendment of the United States Constitution.
I also believe, and this is just my opinion, that the words "under God" should be taken out from the OFFICIAL pledge of allegiance. I emphasize only the 'official' pledge because you should be able to say it either way if you want. But having the word "God" in the 'official' pledge of allegiance is offensive to anyone who Atheist, Agnostic, Non-Christian, or just Irreligious altogether and the government must recognize that. It implies that in order to pledge loyalty to the United States of America that you must accept God and that of course isn't true but the 'official' pledge makes it seem that way. That's just my opinion....

I thank the liberals for Civil Rights.......by the way American tradition dictates a flag should be burned if it touches the ground

Dont you know that conservatives dont care about rights? They are too submissive to ever want to protest their govenment or burn a flag. Whatever the government decides about things if fine by the conservatives.

and higher taxes, gay marriages, trying to ban the RIGHT to own and bear arms, higher taxes, more government to tell us what to do, how to eat, what to wear, where to go to school, SPECIAL "rights" for illegals and criminals, less rights for honest, hard working people, forcing their indoctrination of "alternative" life styles down my throat......
Yeah, I thanked a liberal today.......for showing me what they are all about, if their idea of "Freedom of Speech" is to burn the very symbol of FREEDOM, then that tells me all about THEM. It's funny though, that same liberal that burned the flag and spits on soldiers, is the same liberal that tells ME I CAN'T own a firearm or go hunting or drive an SUV or eat meat or PRAY in school....etc....I think you get my point

I have never seen a flag burned in this country without riot police protecting that right. To me that means there is still hope. They might have the right but they can't exercise it without fear and that is the way it will stay until the law is changed to protect this one symbol of our sovereignty from abuse and dishonor.

I'm a liberal, and if someone wants to burn themself a flag (But not necessarily in public or in a riot) by all means, it only effects yourself, so what do we care, go and do it! I'm just not going to mind because it's not my business. I'm not saying I burn flags, either. I display one in my dormroom.
Give me all the thumbs down you want, but you know I'm right. What do you care if it's private? Life-controlling idiots are what run the white-house. Don't control someone's life here.
