when the computer loads it has to many desktop items,how do i put them somewhere else so they dont load,as it takes too longto get computer up and running

The best and safest way is to browse to this website and follow the instructions for whatever your operating system is. As if you uncheck something that is needed you might end up with some unwanted results...Here is the link for it..

Go to Start > Run > type: msconfig > OK. Click the Startup tab and then uncheck all items you do not want to run at startup. If you change your mind, you can always go back and re-check an item.

Unchecking an item hurts nothing, as I said, if you turn off something you want back on, you go back and re-check it!

In the start menu Type msconfig when it open click on the start tab uncheck all the programs you do not want to start when windows open just leave your anti virus check ,then restart the computer.

Direct your cursor to the lower part of your screen, right click it, go to toolbars and uncheck items you wanted remove or use the desktop cleaning wizard.

you are referring to the system tray. these items are memory resident programs installed by different applications or by windows. you can right click some of the icons & change the properties so they don't load when windows start-up.

it's easy,just delete those you do not want to show or cut and paste them into another file folder. And the time you want to use those items, you still can double click them and get to go!
