By and large, privilege is only recognized by those who do NOT have it. The term "privilege" refers to the cultural assumption of normative standards. The average American is assumed to be white, heterosexual and male (never mind that the majority are female). Therefore these populations function in life with an easier acceptance in most circumstances. The fact that blacks must function higher than whites to achieve the same positions of employment is not recognized by most white people. Similarly for openly gay people and for women.

This sociological term is poorly understood and not in the cultural parlance among most people. I'm glad you asked the question, but I don't think you'll get many meaningful answers unless someone else has studied the concept in college or graduate school.

White heterosexual men probably experience the least amount of discrimination.

I don't think that any group has privilege over others. Life is what you make of it, whether you are black, white, mexican, whatever. nobody OWES any race ANYTHING.
