One of my friends is a full-figure. She is about 5'5" and 145 lbs. I plan to buy a pair of skinny jeans for her birthday, which will look good with her winter boots. But I want to make sure she will look good in them. Do you think she will end up looking fat in these jeans?

well, skinny jeans are the same as regular, such as boot cut jeans, but they slim ALL the way down the leg. i would first just hint to her if she likes skinny jeans, first, because i have a friend that i thought would like skinny jeans, but turns out she doesn't. if your friend says something like, "they'll make me look fat," then she would probably feel self consious in them. that's not good! but i think they would look alright depending on what she was wearing.

Yes. If you are not skinny it's gonna make you look blown up. My sister is an average size girl...not fat, not skinny (about 5'5, 125-130 lbs) and she looks like she gained a couple of pounds in the hips and thighs/legs when she wears them. That's the problem with these jeans...they are only made to fit one body type.

A curvy person is better to simply wear well-fitted jeans than purposely skinny jeans. You will look much better in a correctly fitted pair, and they will show off your toned legs better than some emo style skinny jeans.

When you say full figured I hope you mean just kind of thick...in an honestly good way. Because if she's actually fat and you're thinking of buying a fat chick a pair of ''skinny jeans''....I hope she stabs you in the eyeball with her fat fingernail just for being so stupid, self righteous, inconsiderate and....stupid. And I don't even LIKE fat chicks.

Of course they do. Skinny jeans are for skinny people and they are kidding themselves if they squash themselves in and think they don't look fat.
Fat people should wear fat clothes if they don't want their fat to be obvious. I refuse to wear close fitting things and show my rolls of fat because I am a realist. I have seen plenty of fat people wearing skinny clothes and my attitude is in the end its up to the individual what they chose to wear but don't have yourself on if your fat then your fat.

Fat maybe isn't the right word but they will definitely over emphasis any bad points as they're so tight & go in at the ankles making you look like you have the most gigantic thighs ever! Be careful, she may not thank you for it!

no im a full figure and i love my super super ultimate skinny jeans theyre like super tight emo skinny jeans like beyond skinny jeans i got then at hot topic they have nice ones there, I dont think she will look fat in them, my friend is fat and she wears skinny jeans from old navy and they look perfectly fine on her :) abye

no, i definitely think ALMOST anyone can pull off skinny jeans. the ones at american eagle are perfect becuase they arent super tight and clingy, their a little looser and they look really nice<3

Not necessarily, cause I know someone that weighs more than that and wears them...and doesn't look all that fat...maybe a little filled out but it depends on the proportions of your friend....is it all in her bottom or her legs?
