in 5 years a new video game system will come out the PS4 then what?

I used to like video games since mario on nintendo and sonic on sega but i can't stand games anymore. When i finally got my n64 a year later ps2, xbox, and gamecube came out. i did not have a job when the system was hot during the years, this was when i was in high school during 14- 17. i got a job when i graduated and got a xbox i was so happy :) . But a year after i got my xbox the xbox360 comes out now i got the money to buy it but i will not buy it . Now ps3 and nintendo wii are coming out and you know what i don't care about videogames anymore because in 5 years when i am 25 to old for games there will be new systems with better graphics like PS4, NIntedo US, and Xbox 540 with crazy nerdy people waiting on line to buy the system and the PS3 will be like nothing anymore and worth $4.00. i can't take video games they are to expensive and are for kids and ( like me ) college students then 5 years after PS4 the PS5 will be out costing $1000.00 with only seventeen in stores

THANK YOU! I'm so sick of this crap, it's nearly impossible to keep up with all these game systems. Sure they are cool, but you'll go bankrupt trying to "fit in" and join the crazy video game cult that has developed over the years. There is always something better to look forward to and with that, there is going to be a higher price attached. This has become ridiculous! After you pay a billion dollars for the system, you have to pay more for the controls, games, and other accessories! What kind of crap is that? If it's gonna be that much, it should at least have a controller(s) included! Just stick to what you've got, you'll go nuts trying to conform to all the chaos and addicts out there lol. = )

The Wii has great games for the hardcore too. Zelda Mario Galaxy Brawl. It's not all 4 hour long hello kitty games :P If you're still determined to jump to another system I'd say it depends on whether or not you want to do any online gaming, in which case it depends on what your friends have and which big exclusives you want.(Halo, Gears of War, Resistance, Ratchet & Clank etc) Personally I view the plethora of mindless shooters polluting my Xbox as casual games because anyone can pick them up and start blasting things, and I'd rather have a Wii in fact.

i have my PS2 for one game title only - GRAND THEFT AUTO - and i may not buy the PS3 until GTA4, but i do agree with u for the main point, look at media in the last century, record were around for 100 yrs before cd's. then 15-18 yrs after cd's came dvd's. Vhs was around for 25 yrs till dvd's came out. now blu-ray is replacing dvd's 10 years after dvd's. picture tube tvs were the norm for 50 yrs, now there flat. computers used to have the power of a pocket calculator, now user pc's are super computers. technology is imporving so fast its not worth it to keep up to date

you put up a very good point. I would not get anything at all if i were you, then save your money and the day they come out get them all!
NOBODY IS TOO OLD FOR VIDEOGAMES
And get a good job so you can afford them, thats why i am becoming a vet, great pay and you can get whatever you want lets see here...

you should try computer online games instead of home consoles. you can use the computer both for work and play, so you have little to loose. the other good thing about online computer game you can make money from it. if you're experienced with RPG games, you can sell your built-up characters, trade weapon, item, etc with other player for real money. you give them the item and they will transfer bucks to your account. better to get start it!
