My wedding is in a little over a week and the weather forecast says its gonna be below 30 degrees that day. (not typical for this region). My dress is strapless and I do have a nice wrap but I recently decided I want to try and find some nice arm length satin gloves to wear. It's not really that big a deal if I don't find any, but I think it would make the dress look a little more wintery is all (not to mention keep me warmer...our church is a little drafty and tends to be fairly cold.) With so little time I can't order them offline. I looked in the various bridal stores and all of them are way to expensive (ie David's - where I got my dress and Alfred Angelo's and a couple of the local bridal boutiques). Does anyone else know where I might find nice full length gloves for a reasonable price? Any ideas will help. - PS - I live in Central Oklahoma

Again, can't go online. The wedding is like 8 days away. They won't get here on time.

You could try and locate a costume rental store or locate a reasonable Seamtress (you supply material, etc.) in your immediate area---Maybe the Yellow Pages?

Stores around here that have them are stores that sell formal dresses. try the mall, or an alternative is if there a store that sells exotic clothes (as in stripper clothes or dance clothes)

A big department store should sell them. Also check if there's any vintage clothing/accessory stores; they sometimes stock them. Or maybe even a costume shop.
