Some didn't have a college degree. Look at Arnold Schwarzeneggar for example, he never went to college. And he became an actor, now he's the govenor for california!
But if you want to be a director or filmographer, then college is the best choice. And acting does need college as well, but if your REALLY good, like award winner worth, then you don't need it.

Definitely not. It is only important if a particular employer that you want to hire you thinks it is. That said though, College, or a very serious acting school can teach you things that you might not naturally discover on your own. If that is the case then you might be too limited in scope to get the good jobs. Some folks have had it all naturally and never went to school or needed to. I suspect that more important than the schooling though is the determination and dedication to go to every single audition that you can possibly go to because you never know which one is going to be the one that "does" it for you. Not to mention that the lesser ones can let you actually "be" an actor/actress in the meantime by paying you to do so.

Look I don't mean to stick up for Arnold Schwarzenneger but get it right, he is actually college educated, in fact not only does he hold a bachelours degree but he also went on to get his MBA from the University of Wisconsin. Anyway, to answer your question, no degree is necessary to become an actor.

It depends on what style of acting you want to do, but generally there is no need to have a degree to be an actor.

You do not NEED a college degree to become an actress/acotr, but going to college to get a degree in acting would help your acting skills by giving you more knowledge, experience, etc.
You can go to college for it if you'd like, and you can also go to as many auditions for movies/plays if you can.
I reccomend college experience.

some human beings learn for years and get no the place, some human beings in no way pass to performing college and have fulfillment, there is not any one answer. that's approximately how stable you're (and a brilliant sort of different issues), no longer how long you knowledgeable. I also have a level in performing, yet no one incredibly cares approximately, they do care approximately how nicely I act when I get contained in the audition room.
