The best I can think of is too make sure you tell her how much you are looking forward to being a family with her. Give her an idea of how you picture the future with her and you together with you two against the world. You'll want to be more specific and personal then that, but the idea is to make sure she know that you want her to be with you and why for the rest of your life.

Congrats my thoughts is dont tell the kids the marry mommy plan because they probably wont be able to keep such a big secret especially for to long. Have the six year old write a note piece by piece will, you, marry, insert your name or if they call you daddy. Then have the 2 year old hand her the ring. When she is totally in shock come from behind the corner and smile. She should love it. Come out with some flowers.
Good luck

Why not take a portrait of you and the kids, and you can hold the ring in your hand or a sign saying "Will You Marry Me", and to make it a even better surprise why don't you have the portrait turned into a puzzle so she can put the pieces together and really get surprised!! I think I found some of those puzzle shops and what not by googling (Google), good luck and congrats!!!!

Wow! Sorry I don't know any creative ideas, but I just want to say congrats to you and wish you all the best. It is very unheard of these days to find a man who is in love with not only the woman but the children too. I commend you on that. Wish you much happiness and good luck!

How sweet are you to to be attached to her kids like that! I wish there were more men like you out there. How about printing Will You Marry Me on a piece of computer paper and letting the kids color it like a coloring sheet and when they show their mom their artwork she will be amazed and overwhelmed that you asked her to marry you and the kids got to be a part of it. Good Luck!

I think you should leave a note telling her to find you and the kids, and also leave rose petals leading up to were you are ,and have the youngest child hold up a big poster saying will you marry me, and the oldest child holding the ring. I think that would be sweet. Good Luck

awww this is so sweet, wish i had a man that wanted to marry me, lol. Just find something she really enjoys, example i love the bears, so if i were taken to a game and brought onto the field and asked......i know alittle hard to do, but somethin like that. just dont do things that are out dated, ring in a dinner at a resturant, on a score board at a game, cute but over done

OOH OOH! I GOT IT! Arrange in advance to purchase every seat on a carousel (any history between you at a mall or somewhere special that has a carousel?) and suprise her by proposing on the carousel. I actually know someone who did this and his fiance thought it was the most romantic thing she'd ever heard of.

Just do whatever is in your. Thats always best and try to include the kids like a little play or something. Thats to let her know you are with her and her kids.

I would take her to a near-by christmas village.....kinda like Bronner's in Frankenmuth, MI.....if you've ever been there. Just somewhere in the snow that is romantic and perfect. While you are asking her have her 2 beautiful children make SNOW ANGELS and when she says yes have them standing there next to the snow angels....that would be so pretty!! Anyways, thats a thought....GOOD LUCK!! CONGRATS!!
