~~~is the play station three worth standing in line for 3 days? Its comming out tonight at midnite,,,,,would you stand in line that long for it?? Should I go and stand in line for it,,,would my husband like the fact that I stood in line and that would be his Christmas present??

you should do everything possible to make your husband happy. if he wants this playstation 3, stand outside in the heat or rain or snow to get it for him. if you don't you don't really love him.

Show your love to your husband for the christmas in a different way. Not by standing for a PS3. It is not the gift that matters to show your affection to your husband. Hope u understand.

If I had no life and $600 to burn I would do it. Besides the first batch of PS3's probably does not have all the bugs worked out yet. Your best bet is wait about 6 months.

no i don't think its worth it. i hope u don't do it. its not worth the wait, aggravation and $599. u don't need material things to prove your love to your husband. will he really play it? my husband has an xbox, psp, ps2 and never plays them. we don't allow our son to play it too often either, so it hardly gets used. he also has an 2 ipods and all the electronic gadgets possible.
get your husband something better. they have navigation systems which can really come in handy. this playstation will become cheaper and readily available in 6 months.

3 days is way too long. As of now there's such a short supply there's no gaurantee you can get one. And since it's only coming out now there aren't many great games anyways. For me it isn't worth the trouble.

No way. PS3 is way over priced. Xbox 360 will be the way to go. Nintendo Wii could be decent, but its nothing compared to the Xbox 360.

I don't know..get him a Nintendo Wii instead! It will be easier to get him that than a PS3. Besides, I think that the Nintendo Wii owns the PS3.

This is how I look at it -
You can either wait in a long *** line in the cold and pay $500 (and waiting in line like that shows what you're willing to do to make your hubby happy), or you can let other people do the waiting for you and buy it off of Ebay for $1500... I'd probably wait in the line, and try to drag one of my friends with me. :)

i'm a gamer myself....but no way would i stand in line for that....its your choice really...if you want to give him a ps3 for christmas...go ahead...he will appreciate it...but i bet he wont stand in line for like 10 hours to get you jewlery......but maybe you can order it...and tell him that it is a late chrismas present....because the chance of not getting one this year is very high....MANY people are standing in line for it......really...i do not see the point of that....

Your husband should understand that you are a HUMAN BEING, and not a polar bear that lives in the cold. If he can't grasp that concept, then he's got problems. Don't do it.
