Most people aren't as cute or stylish as the avatar choices. Also, it adds an extra layer of anonymity (or two layers, in my case, as I choose not to even design an avatar).

well if ur like me i have no usb cord to put pics on and dont know how to make them my pic even if i could avatars are also easy and keep ur identity hidden
