Take on me got to no.1 there back in 1985 and their debut album Hunting high and low was top 10 - not sure what position it got to tho.
A-Ha hit the jackpot with the James Bond theme The Living Daylights back in 1987. It was in the charts then and according to my mom, a permanent fixture on mtv.

A-Ha - Take on Me was a classic one hit wonder and was even on VH1's top 100 one hit wonders. They did a spoof of the video on family guy.
