Yes it can.

Only after the engine electrical system goes into "closed loop" after it warms up. (not cold)

If it dies when it's cold, could be a vacuum leak, or EGR valve is stuck.

Start it up, and listen for a sucking noise around the intake.

It could be a lot of other things too, but these are the most common cause of engine stall at idle.

it's possible but you usually get a check engine light when you have a bad oxygen sensor.

it shouldnt cause that.check the throttle position sensor and idle air control.and it could be the gas filter too.
