use th FOIL method

F = multiply " first terms by firdt terms " = X times X = x^2

O + Multiply outside terms by outside terms = X times _6 = -6x

I = multiply indide terms by inside terms + 3 times X = 3 x

L = multiply last terms by last termd = 3 times -6 = - 18

combine this into

x^2 + ( -6x) = ( 3x) = 1( - 18 )
combine like terms

x^2 - 3x_ 18

(x + 3) (x - 6)

= x^2 -18 +3x -6x (multiply two algebraic expressions)

= x^2 -3x -18 (put variables together and contant terms
together)

If you mean what is this multiplied out than you would use FOIL to solve it.
(x+3)(x-6)
x^2-6x+3x-18
x^2-9x-18
