What are some cities close to washington D.C.?

How close? Richmond, VA and Baltimore, MD are close by. Of the two, Baltimore is my favorite as it's on a bay. The area around there is quite nice actually, and getting better all the time from what I hear.

There are a lot of cities near Washington DC, but for big cities it isn't far from Baltimore, MD or Annapolis, MD

Washington DC is on the East Coast. Seattle is on the West Coast, actually the NW corner of the US.

So I'm not sure how to answer your question.
