I keep hearing that The Department of Homeland Security has proposed a new rule that will require citizens to have federal government aproval before entering or exiting the United States. Does anyone know where this is posted on the internet ? I would really like to read about it because i have seen absolutely nothing about it on the news nor have I read anything about it on the internet other than what person or persons unknown have written.
Is it realy true or is it just something else that someone has read and misunderstood? If you know where i can read about it then please post a link.
I personaly think it is only idle gossip started by someone who doesnt understand what they have been reading, however I am most willing to be proved wrong.
If it is true I would like to know before any kind of crazy law like that takes effect because I want to pack my family up and get the h.e.l.l out of this country before Uncle Sam decides to also dictate what time of day i can take a piss

I also am in possesion of a valid passport and frequently fly in and out of the country. I am well aware of the new changes regarding passport changes.
I figured that all the talk was from the fact that people are reading and hearing about the new "Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative Laws" but are not fully understanding exactly what they are reading. However I just had to ask the question just in case I had missed something somewhere and Uncle Sam was trying to slip one over on me

Hello. I am a frequent traveler. The law is that as of now some people and us citizens could travel in and out of the us without a passport or visa. now you must have a passport to get back.

they are good for ten years and better id than even a drivers license so you can use it for other purposes.

you can apply for one at the post office and any county clerks.
