You know what works really great? Almay has a line that caters to all the different eye colors. They have one to play up the blues, hazels, greens, and browns. They carry eyeshadow, liner, lipstick and mascara all to go along with whatever color eyes you have. The colors they offer to play up the hazel eyes are a light pink, a medium brown, and a light gold shade that all come together in a trio form. You put the pink on the lids, the brown in the crease, and then the goldish shade on your brow bones and you wouldn't believe how much your eyes pop. Of course to go along with that you also need to get the mascara and the eyeliner and your eyes will be gorgeous! I use it daily and I hope this helped you.

Blue eyeshadow looks best with hazel eyes. I know because I have hazel eyes.

I would go with the dark colors. Smokey eye makeup is also a plus for hazel eyes.

well, i use a red around the part where your eyelashes are at the edge and then top it off w/ a light brown on the rest of your eye. it may not work on you but i love it on me.
