2. pay attention to when you see the tourists the most, that is when they enjoy coming to the area in their convienience.
where are you from? seriously. pay attention to the patterns of when tourists start showing up. not cool. if youre going to visit another town thats packed, and it is smashed full of traffic and you cant do anything, you are just as frustrated as when they are. its impossible to use the roads, people are everywhere, service is slow and crummy...i could go on.

Whenever I spot a 'Tourist Information' booth, I go in & ask them about the people who where here last year ;)
