Slight fracture-4th metatarsal-any runners out there who recovered from this type of injury?

I'm not a runner. I'm a nurse. I broke my 5th metatarsal twice. I just had to rest the foot. It didn't even have much pain.

isnt your 4th metatarsal one of your toes!? i had a small break in one of those, but im a gymnast...not a runner. and i recovered just fine!
