I thought america was freedom of religion? So why exactly is christmas music on public radio stations? I'm an atheist and i dont wanna hear that garbage i wanna hear music that doesnt shove there beliefs in my face all the time. And some of the stations start playing that garbage in November. Its ridiculous.

I'm not a Christian either, but I still spend time with my Christian family for the holidays. I too hate Christmas music. I've worked in retail for some time, while in college, and I get to hear that crap from November until January. Non stop! It's annoying to say the least.

Because, think about it. The United States is a country based on Christian beliefs, so if the Christians believe in Christmas, the American radio does too.
