Soap can irritate you (wash the vaginal area only with water). Any natural vaginal secretions are washed away in the shower, tub, pool , hot tub, ocean.......I don't think the end of your period has a think to do with it. I'm not sure why you use protection some of the time. Sounds a bit risky. Just stick to a condom and dry land. :)

More than likely it's the soap. Or... the fact that u weren't "lubed" enuff... showering/water in general washes away the proper "fluids" that are sposed to be down there... aaaand the weird friction that ur not used to may have caused the burning. Doesn't seem like something to worry about to me. But if the burning or..."semi-burning" persists u shud consult ur doctor.

It could be that some soap got inside of you, or worse stds.you may want to go get checked out because using a condom sometimes does not cut it.

could be a uti, they get worse with lots of oral sex or if you use saliva as a lubricant.

or a yeast infection.

or last but not least, if you are somebody with sensitive skin and you showered in hard water with soap, the soap would get locked into your pores and agrivate the skin.

I would be willing to bet the soap irritated you.
