yeah, i did that before... just make sure the Black Film on the Inside isn't scratched... Just convert all you files on the Floppy Drive onto the computer, and put those files onto another Floppy... Take off the Silver thing first before you put the flooy in the computer...

Take off the silver thing, make sure the spring still isnt inside the disc and carefully without touching or scratching the film, place it in ur pc and port the files over to your pc and put a new floppy disc in and port the files from your pc to your floppy

Yes it is still use able but don't touch the disk that is inside the floppy.
