in regards to pay.. probably comparable except for the shift differentials, holiday pay the NA can earn

medical assistants work in clinical/Md office settings
they are held accountable to the MD, they draw blood, do vitals, make appointments, etc

nursing assistants work in hospitals, and in nursing homes
they do vitals, get specimens, clen up messes, feed patients..etc and are held accountable by the RN
