Better than PS2/XBOX 360/Nintendo Wii?

Frankly, I would pay 600 dollars for the ps3 system, but I know it will distract me from school work. It is obvious that the system is not worth that much. But, the principle of demand and supply generates the 600 dollar benchmark. You can check for yourself how much the system is actually worth on this website. It takes them roughly 300 dollars to create the system majorly due to the motherboard price and the blu-ray technology, but in the next year the availability of this technology will force the prices of the ps3 to drop. Also take into consideration its vast capabilities like 40+ on-line players, superb graphics, motion sense controller, and unbelievable gaming experience, and many more.

Nintendo Wii sucks i got the xbox 360 and it works fine but the ps3 is pritii good ggggggggggggggggg like good

Well, there are a lot of different opinions on this subject. We will find out tomorrow if it is worth the money and hype. Personally, I think it is because it's going to be state-of-the art technology for 10 years.

I think it is, but I'm not going to spend 600 bucks for it right now. I'm going to wait it out so Sony can fix the glitches that the system might have.
