hot topic if you want to go for mainstream punk and look like every other punk who jumped on a bandwagon - i'd suggest going there for inspiration but making your purchases in thrift stores or contacting punks in the area in which you live and conversing with them.

Well, Hot Topic has pretty punkish stuff. Even though im not punk, but thrift stores also have some pretty punk selection. Ebay also. I would also reccomend old ratty concert tees, nothing more punk than that.

Real punks never bought their clothes from malls. Go to Goodwill, Salvation Army, or other local thrift stores and alter your clothes.
