I think you already know this but here are the pros and cons:

The Pro is that : You'll have a trophy wife. Most high maintenance woman look nice, have always been pampered and expect total attention all the time both emotionally and financially.

The Con is that: You'll always be in debt, either financially or emotionally, its hard to keep up. The more you give, the more that's expected of you.

I'd think twice before I married one of these ladies.

There is more cons then pros first is she high maintenance because of sex or money or both then you will always wonder why she's with you in the first place probably not love, high maintenance women are usually beautiful so they feel something is owed to them sex might be good but at what cost?

There are different types of "High maintenance". Not all high maintenance types are after money and self centered.

I've been accused of being high maintenance and to tell the truth I kind of agree... but I'm not into money and I'm not self-centred.

I want him to remember my birthday and get me card. I'll even settle for a e-card or text message. I want him to call me, surprise me, think of me, etc.

Cons: I need alot of effort and time.
Pros: I'm not asking for anything I don't also willingly give.

If two people can be devoted to each other like that, starting a family would be fantastic because instead of spending all that effort in making each other happy, they will unite to put that effort towards the same goal... the family.

I don't think there are any pros. My aunt is a high maintenance type and I feel SOO sorry for her boyfriend. Any guy that will put up with a nag telling him what to do and when to do it and that asks him 20 questions a day........is not a man. She don't even put out and she's been with him like 15 yrs or something.

Pros:
1. She will probably always look great because she's high mantinance. lol
That's about all the "pros" I can think of.
Cons:
1. She will always compare you to her father because, until now, he's the one who's provided for her.
2. She will be extremely self-centered and will probably not make a good mom because she will be worried about things like, her appearance, having to change dipers etc....
3. You will never have enough money.
4. She will max all the credit cards.
5. If you slack off (either giving her money, or other things...)then she will leave.
So, yeah, you decide.

You're going to be maintaining "the family." And you might be very good at it. Sad news: Every high maintenance married woman among my friends has ended up cheating on and leaving her spouse eventually -- and they were dream guys, too. I can't explain why they did it. They just did. It's possible that "high maintenance" means "selfish." Or something else.

I can't think of any pros. Only cons - you be working three jobs, you be constantly worried about bills, you be worried she dumps you for some milline\aire if you can't keep up the maintenance, you be working five jobs when the kids come and she wants the BEST for them. sorry, i am pessismistic about this cause i meet many high maintenance women who spend tons of time doing nothing but having girly parties, visiting salons and going shoipping.

That's a great question.
She will always look her best and ensure you do too. You wouldn't have to worry about how she look when you go out in public. On the other hand, you will pay for it all or hopefully she'll be an independent high maintenance woman.
