Sounds like you have Spyware.
If you downloaded any Win software then uninstall it. If you didn't then how can you owe them money?

Before attempting to remove malware you must switch off System Restore as back up files will be hiding in there, and it will just restore itself. Go to Start - programs - accessories - system tools - system restore.
Run your anti virus and anti spyware in Safe Mode. To get into Safe Mode repeatedly press the F8 key after the bios screen loads but before Windows loads. You'll know if you made it because the screen will be at 800 x 600 and your pc will be slow.

Then beef up your security. Its easier to prevent malware getting on to your sytem in the first place rather than trying to remove it. All the following programs are free for personal use;

You need to install one firewall.
The Windows firewall doesn't stop malware on your pc from dialling out.

You need to install one anti virus;

http://www.avast.com - Avast Antivirus

You need all three anti spyware programs;
http://www.ewido.net - AVG(Ewido) anti trojan.
http://www.lavasoft.com - Ad-Aware SE Personal anti adware

http://www.opera.com/ Opera web browser
Instal both these web browsers, turn off javascript on one and use that browser for vising unknown websites. They don't support Active X so thats one less way for problems to get on your pc.

before you worry about a virus clean your cache and old files. then do a total defragmentation.it is most likely the slow speed is due to needing this done. Also you should make sure your paging file is the correct size as well as you have plenty of free space on your hard drive if the free space is below 20% then burn your music movies etc to disc and clear the HDD of them as to the virus possibility first do you have a decent anti virus installed on your computer or one of those free ones (if they were good they wouldn't be free. get something like NOD32 which cleans all from the computer and always make sure it is updated daily. I use RISING myself and haven't had a virus for 5 years on the net downloading etc. both of these ones do a system files check and startup scan to prevent viruses.

Hi not that I know much, but I would think it is - I have suddenly - although I have firewall, spyware and adware managed to get something as a pop up from em.gd.network*.* another called videozapping, another called win21.MT.R*.* - a bit disconcerting as you tend to automatically think that if there is Win in front then it is 'legal'. I haven't a clue a to what you can do, but if you get an answer it would be useful if you could post it!

Might be worth adding any numbers - (I suspect an 090 number) to your blocked lists. BT do a site that you can download and it is supposed to tell you if a number is attempted.
Hope you get it resolved.

I suggest that you try to carryout system restore to a day previous to the day when there was no virus. The problem is likely to be solved. Then,You insatll a standard antivirus soft ware such as Norton, AVG , Avast ( free antivirus software and Ad-aware, Ewido ( free spyware removers). You can download free softwares at

Ok, first of all, time to rule out having a virus:
go to: http://housecall.trendmicro.com and run the free antivirus scan on your computer. Also this sounds more like Spyware, in which case the above web site may also find it for you as well.
You may also want to go to: http://www.download.com and do a search on ad-aware SE and install it on your computer, let it update and run it to check for spyware and malware also.

Its a con mate, dont follow any of the links in the popups, its been caused by malware thats probably been dumped on you by some dodgy site or software.

Download a copy of spybot search and destroy, that'll sort it.
