I am in AP Economics and I went into the class because I like that stuff. If you dont like history then why are you taking it? Make it look good on your HS transcript? So I would which into a diffrent class, say, AP English or an AP math class something that will keep your interest. Dont take a class because it will look good for college. If you fail or are close to failing it affects your GPA as well as colleges seeing that when you send out your final transcript.

First thing, history is fun and you should listen because when you take the AP test, you had better well know what was being taught in class. Second, I'd suggest you sleep earlier and wake up earlier and take a nice refreshing shower. Then eat a nice hearty breakfast so you will have plenty of energy for the rest of the day, and you should replace coffee with a nice crisp apple. An apple is a whole lot healthier and delicious and does the same job at keeping you awake as coffee.

Try to find some chocolate covered espresso beans, they work just like coffee without the coffee taste, also you can eat an apple in the morning, they are known to give more energy than a cup of coffee!

Take a shower in the morning, it will wake you up. And as a ps. coffee is not as good for you as you may think. The effects of coffee are only temporary.

doodle, make it look like notes

chew gum

sing a song in your head

think about what your teacher does when they are not teaching

wonder what's for lunch

Well, you could imagine yourself getting a 1 on the exam because you slept through class, and then having to re-live the hell when you get to college.

That always worked for me.

I don't understand your objection to coffee.
That does it for me, and it's what I would recommend.

Smoke crack. You won't be able to go to sleep.
