here you go i bet you felt your baby heart beat!
My Heart Belongs to You!
The first heartbeats have begun! The baby is now an embryo and is about 1/17 of an inch long. Growth is very rapid this week. The umbilical cord develops. The eyes and ears begin to form as well as an opening for the mouth. The heart has begun to pump blood and most of the other organs are well under construction. Buds form on the body that will become the arms and legs.
Exciting week!
here is this site i give to many women on here.. its a week by week calander for pregnant woman!

Sorry to say that your baby is too tiny to feel movements at 6 weeks, it's not even an inch long yet and not very active yet (I thought the same thing so don't worry) I'm 18 weeks along and have barely started to feel the baby and I'm fairly thin. It sounds like what you felt was your uterus stretching and expanding. Good luck. When you feel your first movements at 16 weeks or later it will feel like your tummy rumbling or growling. If it's your first baby you may feel it quite a bit later, but I felt my baby move around 17 weeks and it's my first baby (she/he's quite active right now, I can tell it's changed it's position lately because of where the kicks are.) Good luck. :)

It's most likely not your baby moving that you're feeling. It's about the size of a lima bean at this point, so that seems unlikely. I didn't feel my baby moving until I was at about 20 weeks, but I could just be slow. :)
Anyway, if the movement felt unfamiliar to you, I would see your doctor. It may be nothing, but just in case it isn't, it's better to be safe than sorry.

Definitley not. That is way to early. It will be around 16 to 21 weeks when you feel the first movements. Your baby is tiny right now.

Well, with all 3 of my boys, I had movement around 6-8 weeks. Someone called it "the quickening". My doctors didn't believe me, but 3 out of 3 can't be wrong...

I don't think it's the baby, have you ever seen how tiny they are at 6 weeks? Ask your doc if you're sure it wasn't gas.
