Really hard question this, i personally would have to say the Manchester United team of 1999.
I know in the Final Bayern Munich were the better team, but there was just something so special about that team.
There were just playing magnificent football through out the whole competition, Schmichael was in the peak of his life, the defence was was excellent of G.Neville, Stam and Irwin.
The midfield was just breath taking, probaly the best midfield in the world at that time, where all the players were on a different level, Beckham, Giggs and when you take into account the suspension of probaly the most leathel central midfield pairing in Kenane and Scholes in the final, that what makes it more amazing.
An up front, well, Solksjaer and Sheringham and to me to you brothers Yorke and Cole.
For me this was the finest Manchester United that i have ever seen play football.

I think Man U, because of the way they did it. Shows determination to score 2 goals in injury time.
Liverpool maybe, but they won on penalties, which is always a lottery. Though credit must be given for fighting back from three goals down.
Not Barcelona. Because I felt that Arsenal deserved it more. Maybe I'm biased, but they did go through a lot to reach the final. Plus it was Highbury's final season.

I think it was Milan of 2003. In that team played Maldini, Nesta, Shevchenko, Rui Costa, Gattuso, Pirlo, Dida, Seedorf...
Moreover Milan reached the final also in 2005, and the quarter in 2004 and 2006.

Well if you take the last 50 or so finals the most surprising was Liverpool's victory over a very strong AC Milan. mank wasn't bad but no where near Liverpool. To beat Juventus and chelski in the competition is no mean feat.

Reckon it has to be Barca last year. anyone that can get past Chelsea has my (grudging) respect! Seriously tho, that side of Rijkaard's last year was awesome. Ronaldinho, E'too, Deco , Messi and Giuly. Their goalie led a charmed life in the games v Chelsea, but fair do's, they are by far and away the best team in the world.Their football was simple but attacking and that formation of 4-3-3 that Jose uses is the one that gets results.
