It's all over the map. If you're there on business, suits and ties. For tourism, take comfortable shoes, because you'll be doing a lot of walking and standing in line. For day time, jeans or Dockers are okay, but when you go out to dinner, you'll see people a bit more dressed up. Don't forget to check the weather because it can be a bit unpredictable. Most of all have a good time. It's a great city!

in d.c. majority of them wear (North Face, Columbia's...as far as coats and jackets are concerned.) They wear Nike boots, New Balances, Timberland Boots, the latest Jordans....as far as shoes. American Eagle. Abercrombie & Fitch...Urban Outer Wear Clothing

clothes, most, more exspensive then they can afford. those that can afford them, pay for them with our tax dollars. and you thought your tax dollars were wasted!
