Why are make co-workers easier to get along with than female ?

That's not always true. The reason for that in some cases is that males just love to talk with the opposite sex and hang around with them. It's in their nature. It's a little harder for female co-workers to get along with each other because since they are the same sex, they tend to judge each other a lot based on various things and form good or bad opinions about them. For example, "She looks like a sl*t!" or "She's sooo bitchy!" Something like that I guess lol :)

I have known several women who have told me that they would rather work for/with men any day over women. Women are catty with each other and get mean and caustic. I think the women look upon each other as competing among themselves and contrary to the notion of "kindler, gentler women", they can be, but as any married man can say they can get downright mean if necessary.

I agree with you! I have always had a better work environment when I have had a male boss. Women tend to be competitive with eachother the way men are competitive with other men.
