I know that most of you older people will say that natural beauty is best and stuff. I totally agree. But I am 12, and my parents gave me the "OK" to start wearing a little makeup. However, my mom isn't really into makeup and doesn't know how to put any on. And obviously my dad doesn't know either. So please help. And if you are going to say don't wear makeup your too young or whatever...DON'T ANSWER!!! I don't want anything with eyeliner, or anything black (except mascara.) I just want a little natural beauty tips and some of your favorite brands.
Thx!

I have medium-full lips, so I also would like to know if anyone knows any good brands to make full lips smaller.

natural! :)

if ur skin is good, u can either get a translucent powder (for shine)... i like rimmel, or cover girl for cheapie brands from drug store.

if ur skin is shiny, get some of those oil blotting sheets..they even have some w/ powder on one side. (shiseido has good ones, so does Johnson & Johnson clean and clear)

clear or black mascara (i like maybelline)

powder blush for ur cheeks (just a bit to give u color, maybe physicians formula brand? they have teh cool ones w/ all different colored pearls)

lip gloss/colored lip balm (i like loreal, maybelline lip gloss, and soft lips for chapstick)

that's all u need! if u want, u can get an eyebrow pencil/powder to lightly darken them... it really makes ur eyes stand out :). but that might be too much! just go slowly and practice~

well first off let me just say you are lucky for two reasons... i have thin lips and second cause your parents are letting you wear it way before mine did... they still dont like it... but what can ya do... back to your question... let me tackle your lips first... ok you have full lips so my suggestion since you have stated that you want to play them down a bit would be a natural earthy color and if you are going to use a lip liner you want something natural and for us who werent blessed with full lips we outline outside or below our lip line so i would suggest line either right on the line of your lips or JUST before... and keep it nutural... now for your eyes you want depending on your skin tone earthy browns or tan... little bit of a hint of pink... small amount of glitter in the shadow is always nice... but keep it light and natural... i usually have makeup on to where it just enhances my beauty and you can barely tell i have it on... especially with the browns depending on how deep they are go light... so you can just see it... also when putting on any makeup make sure you have enough light above you and around you so you can tell how it looks... if the light is dim then you tend to put more on without knowing and therefore not achieving the look we are going for... mostly the light shimmers that are in some shadows need light or you can EASILY put too much on... *raises hand* done it a few times... oh and for mascara there is a really nice mascara that just came out not too long ago that is great... lash exact from cover girl... tho you may not need that til you get a little older... just simple plain mascara will do for now... hope this has been helpful to you... and hope all is well... oh one last thing... always mosturize your face and if you want your eyeshadow to last longer put a dab or lotion or concealor on your lids and then after its dry apply the shadow... makes it last longer...

I agree, you don't need a whole lot of makeup. Mascara is a good thing to start with. Depending on your hair and skin color, black can be a tad harsh. If you're on the pale-light side, dark brown may be a better choice. Cover Girl's Lash Exact works wonders for me! For your lips, you can use some chapstick (I like Burt's Bees). If you're oily, you might want to use some powder foundation to control the oil. Lastly, (totally optional), but you could use a light colored blush/bronzer. One of my favorites is Wet 'n' Wild's Bronzer in Acapulco Glow.

I hope I helped!

Ok, so first of all, to make you full lips smaller, you might want to get a tinted balm, maybe not a gloss because it might make your lips look bigger. Colour makes the mouth look smaller, while a dap of clear gloss in the middle of you mouth makes your pout bigger, so whatever you want. What I really like is not necessarily blush, because that's kind of risky if you haven't done it before, but I found some really nifty shimmer powder stuff that's just a bit tinted pink. If you just brush it over your cheekbones it makes them glimmer and gives them just a bit of colour w/o being all gross and bright. You can find shimmer powder at any drugstore, but I recommend M·A·C Select Sheer/Loose Powder in the light pinky beige. Also, I really like a light brown mascara because it also goesn't look to over done. If you really want black, you can get it but Covergirl Lash Exact Mascara is supposed to be really good for the price. I hope I helped and remember to not overdo it because the point of makeup is to seem like you aren't wearing any :)

Mineral make-up is great. It's light weight and you can buy sheer light powders, so it looks natural Try Bare Essentials or Youngblood Mineral Makeup. It's only about 55 bucks for the powder foundations in the compacts.

Chanel makeup is also excellent. It lasts, adn they have awesome colors for the upcoming winter months. I have a couple powders/lipsticks/mascaras by Chanel and I get MANY compliments on the colors. Hope I helped, God Bless.

Well Honey,
I would go with A little mascara what you do is keep your eye open and then sweep it across or ask a older friend. Also lip gloss for great shine. As well as blush if your sorta pale like me, but only a little. And go with Covergirl or Mabyline new york, They ARE THE BEST BRANDS.

I <3 Bonnebell and Rimmel glosses. Bonnebell has the most wonderful actually staying on lipgloss. I <3 Rimmel's nude lip gloss since it makes them look bigger.
I have a problem with all mascaras except Great Lash Clear since the other ones tend to have tar. Great Lash in color when the excess is wiped off, it has Allure's and Oprah's stamp of approval.
Physician's Formula is the best concealer EVER!!!

You don't need to pile it on just yet.

So, I recommend just some black mascara (Maybelline XXL Intense is AMAZING for the price), and to make your lips look smaller, get a nude gloss. Voila! =)

Well you could wear a little POWDER foundation (liquid might plug your pores) a little blush and clear lip gloss! It's a very natural look =]
