Americans wanted a country of their own instead of paying taxes to Great Britain. They wanted to have a government of their own to whom they pay the taxes and leaders of their own to administer the new territories.

the wealthy merchant class was upset about mercatilsm ecconomic. they thought that the crown didn't care so much about them. they wanted to be free to trade with other nations without useing the crown as a middle man who just taxed the hell out them. also the crown had treatys in place with the natives stateing that people could not personaly buy land from indians, or make threre own treatys with them. the crown put a limit of expansion at the appalacian miuntains. people didn't like this either.
but mainy becasue the taxes. and they revoloted from that. they created a new nation becasue the war escalated so far they knew there was no going back to the old way.
but that's if your talking about america.
many, many, many, british colonies revolted to form a new nation

good questions... The revolt grew to become into stated as pushing returned against the English Crown for taxation without presentation. Many sense this could nicely be a solid slogan, yet would not postpone below close scrutiny. Others sense the actual reason grew to become into that the suitable people did no longer sense they have been getting the honor they merited/needed from the British aristocracy. nonetheless others sense those maximum waiting to benefit from and self sufficient u.s. have been the people maximum in all threat to sign. Draw your individual conclusions - yet lots of those comparable people lost all that they had via putting their call on the Delaration of Independence... It grew to become a "international war" by way of fact the French and English have been at odds and it made experience for France to destabilize the English via assisting the people/spreading out England's components as a distraction to decrease their bring about Europe, in simple terms as Lincoln was hoping to destabilize the South (in the process the Civil war) via signing the Emancipation Proclamation. With a great form of the hot thinkers printing their suggestions and sharing their recommendations from France and the U.S., and with France deposing its rulers on the heels of the american Revolution, it would make experience that those international places might improve into the laboratories of a sort for working with the aid of those new and dynamic suggestions shared via people which incorporate Voltaire.
